Ex Equipment Inspection, Quality assurance & Auditing
Ex equipment Inspection and quality assurance
Selection, inspection and correct installation/maintenance of Ex equipment are crucial in assuring safety in hazardous areas. Equipment must be suitable for use within the hazardous area present, be installed and maintained correctly, and the installation must comply with all applicable Acts, Regulations and Standards, such as AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079.14.
At HA Electrical Services, we bring extensive practical experience covering every aspect of hazardous area installation verification, from initial inspection of new installations to periodic inspection of existing installations across gas, vapor, and dust environments. Our team hold inspection and installation competencies under IECEx CoPC, AS/NZS 4761.1 and have delivered projects throughout Australia and internationally in compliance with AS/NZS, IEC, and ATEX requirements. From single item inspections to large scale campaigns covering more than 3,500 pieces of equipment, we provide tailored, accurate, and practical inspection and quality assurance solutions to help keep your operations safe and compliant.
QUEENSLAND Accredited auditing
Section 221 of the Queensland Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 requires that an accredited hazardous area auditor inspect electrical installations before they are connected for the first time or reconnected following an alteration (non like-for-like). The inspection must cover the extent of the installation affected by the electrical work to ensure compliance before connection to a source of electrical supply.
HA Electrical Services have licensed QLD accredited Hazardous Area Auditors on staff, to help you meet your statutory obligations and ensure your new hazardous area electrical installation is safe and compliant.
